Extreme Need Of The World
My eyes keenly observe humanity,
Young and old craving for peace and unity,
Multiple faces of war surface all over,
Hope becomes dark silhouette afar.
Man’s hatred and deep poverty,
Unconquerable by weapons of war,
Neither be vanished through man’s wisdom,
True freedom comes not from man.
Day and night my soul is being moved,
Tears of compassion gush from my eyes,
Imprinted images of man’s wretchedness,
Gently squeeze my tender heart.
As I sob, God touched my heart,
By His Word, I realized the truth of life,
Silver and gold could not save the world,
Indeed, the world needs the Word.
Oh dying souls, oh helpless world,
Cheer up! Hear the good news from above,
The Gospel: The extreme need of the world,
Gladly receive and live a life well-lived.
